Florida Man Fakes COVID-19 To Foil Cops, It Ends Badly

Joshua Price, 28, apparently scrawled “COVID 19 infected since 4/8/20” in blue ink on a sheet of paper and used electrical tape to stick it to his front door.

Deputies and detectives donned protective gear to arrest Price Thursday at the Bardin, Florida residence.

Deputies and detectives used protective gear when arresting 28 year old Joshua Price on Will Tillis Road in Bardin this afternoon on felony flee and elude law enforcement and violation of probation warrants.

The investigation revealed that the suspect created the fake sign as his idea to avoid arrest.Price has been booked onto the county jail with no indication that he has been exposed to the COVID-19. [EOR]
