ST. LOUIS, Mo. (WKRC) — A Missouri man has been convicted by a jury after admitting in court that he murdered his pregnant wife.
31-year-old Beau Rothwell testified that he and his wife, Jennifer — who was six weeks pregnant — had gotten into an argument on Nov. 11, 2019 over an affair he was having.
He said the fight escalated when he refused to identify with whom he was having the affair.
Jennifer then apparently told him to keep his “mystery b***h,” and that the baby was not his, though a paternity test later confirmed that it was his child.
Rothwell told the jury he became enraged, going into a “red haze” and hitting her in the head with a mallet multiple times.
