The American Digest – President Joe Biden is expected to extend the COVID-19 state of emergency through the 2024 elections.
Insiders in the government were quoted as saying,
“Covid is still active. The pandemic is still ongoing. Given the cases we are currently encountering, it makes no sense to lift this.”
The Senate GOP was successful in passing a resolution to lift the state of emergency on March 3.
Many federal laws and programs that critics claim have fueled inflation and the supply chain crisis would be able to continue if the emergency was prolonged, according to the Department of Health and Human Services.
