Macomb Daily – Fans of Denny’s Grand Slam breakfast will no longer be able to enjoy the meal at the chain’s Roseville, Michigan diner.
After decades of feeding Macomb County residents, the round-the-clock eatery on Gratiot Avenue near Macomb Mall last week shut its doors for good.

Man says he contracted hepatitis after eating at Florida Denny’s

ClickOrlando.com – A man who says he contracted Hepatitis A after eating at a Denny’s in Kissimmee is suing the restaurant chain for negligence, according to a recently filed lawsuit.
The plaintiff went to the restaurant on Irlo Bronson Memorial Highway on Oct. 13, 2019 for a meal and within a few days, started experience nausea, fatigue, jaundice and significant weight loss, records show.
A doctor ultimately diagnosed the man with viral Hepatitis A, which is contracted when a person consumes food or drink contaminated with the feces of an infected person.

Upstate Denny’s Closes Suddenly

Lite987.com – A local Denny’s near Utica, NY appears to have abruptly closed.
The New Hartford restaurant, which was refurbished in 2016, reportedly told some employees two days before that the restaurant would close at 7:30pm on Sunday, January 5.
According to the post, a customer was given the news by a server, who says the restaurant will be closed permanently. [Year-end corporate financial results released Feb 11, 2020 indicate 36 Denny’s locations were permanently closed in 2019. Source.]
