Forbes – In the nearly two days since returning to the White House from Walter Reed Medical Center on Monday, President Trump has vanished entirely from the public view even as the White House continues to deliver glowing bills of health amid his ongoing coronavirus infection.
White House doctor Sean Conley put out a memo on Tuesday claiming Trump reported being symptom-free and was doing “extremely well” overall, and on Wednesday he wrote, “The President this morning says ‘I feel great!'”
Also Tuesday, White House communications director Alyssa Farah told reporters, “I anticipate you will hear from him at some point today,” though no video of Trump – live or pre-recorded – ultimately ever materialized.
Trump campaign spokesman Ken Farnaso told Forbes that they are “eager to have the President back on the campaign trail and know that he will be back out there as soon as possible,” adding that Operation MAGA will “keep the campaign at full speed.”
Trump did return to the Oval Office later on Wednesday to be briefed on stimulus talks and Hurricane Delta, White House spokesperson Brian Morgenstern confirmed, but he did not appear publicly.
A White House spokesperson declined to comment to Forbes on when Trump would next appear publicly.
