Tot, 21 Months, Died Of Fentanyl Overdose; Third Suspect In Custody

Dana Dolan was arrested Saturday in Lancaster on negligent homicide, other charges after a child died of an overdose in 2020 in Londonderry, New Hampshire (U.S. Marshals)

CONCORD, NH — A spokesman for the U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force said he was “extremely happy to announce” that members had caught a third suspect accused of being involved in the death of a 21-month-old child of fentanyl poisoning in Londonderry in November 2020.

Task force members were searching for Dana Dolan, 24, with a last known address of Tilton, after already arresting Mark Geremia, 32, and Shawna Cote, 29, on homicide, manslaughter, and other charges, in the death of the girl, according to Jeffrey White, a deputy marshal.

Court documents accused Dolan of assisting Geremia and Cote in falsifying physical evidence after the death of the girl, the daughter of Geremia and Cote, at the RMZ Truck Stop on Rockingham Road on Nov. 16, 2020.

Geremia, Cote, and Dolan were accused of snorting the fentanyl they purchased in Massachusetts and stopping at the truck stop the night before after Geremia was nodding off while attempting to drive home.

The next morning, all three were accused of taking more drugs, and later, the girl also ingested the drugs inside the vehicle and died.

The gruesomeness of the case has gripped the state during the past 72 hours which led law enforcement to issue an up-to-$2,500 reward for information that would lead to the arrest of Dolan.

White said the reward “greatly increased” the number of tips reported to the taskforce — including many that pointed to locations around the Lakes Region.

A lot of the tips, however, were investigated and ruled out.

Members of the task force spent Saturday working with other agencies to find Dolan.

“The information learned through today’s investigation brought the task force to an apartment on Powder Hill Drive in Lancaster,” White said. “As members of the US Marshals, NH State Police and the Lancaster Police Department approached the residence, Dolan attempted to flee out the back door and was quickly arrested.”
