Porn star Ron Jeremy, 69, struggled to spell his own name, showed 'signs of dementia' and paid women to live with him in a motel, new Channel 4 documentary reveals - while he awaits trial for 30 counts of sexual assault

MAILONLINE – Disgraced porn star Ron Jeremy, who’s facing 34 sexual assault charges, struggled to write his own name and paid people to keep him company, a new Channel 4 documentary has revealed.

Jeremy, 69, was charged with four counts of rape and sexual assault in August 2020, and another 20 counts of either rape of sexual assault over a span of 16 years, from 2004 to 2020, that involved 12 women and 15-year-old girl.

Upon further investigation, in 2020, he was indicted on 30 sexual assault counts involving 21 victim and currently is still awaiting trial.

His trial was suspended in March after he failed to recognize his lawyer and appeared to suffer a breakdown.

The new documentary series Porn King: The Rise & Fall of Ron Jeremy appears to show the actor’s mental decline.

In one moment in the series, Jeremy struggled to write and needed assistance knowing how to spell his name.

In a second, his former personal assistant Moss Krivin said Jeremy was a hoarder, whose house was a ‘disaster,’ and who paid people to keep him company.

During the documentary, his friend Kianna Bradley, also an adult film star, said she had started to notice signs of dementia in the performer.

She said she would call Jeremy daily, and he wouldn’t know who she was, despite their friendship, which spanned years.

She explained: ‘He won’t remember who I am until I explain it to him.’

Meanwhile, adult performer Alana Evans, who worked with Jeremy, knew him socially and claimed he sexually assaulted her at the beginning of her career, said the actor was ‘totally senile.’

‘As Ron’s mental state deteriorated, his behavior worsened. Ron definitely got worse with his offending over time,’ she said.

In one undated clip apparently illustrating his mental struggles, the former performer asked the person filming how to spell his own name, saying: ‘Jeremy, right? J-E-R-E-MI?’, while the person responded: ‘Yeah, you got it’ … READ MORE.
