Now, a general study would probably reveal that some people who feel the need to brag about these things are often the ones who are most insecure, and it’s probably best to keep what happens in the bedroom between you and your partner.
Fortunately, a study from Lovehoney has helped put a figure on the sort of numbers that average blokes are posting, although I would also argue that people are perhaps always likely to add a few minutes onto their own answers.
These aren’t necessarily a ball park to aim for, as everyone’s experience will be different, but here are the reported numbers from different age groups:
Those aged between 18 and 24 registered an average time of 16.14 minutes in bed, with numbers ranging from just a few minutes to some suggesting that they’re managing to last over an hour, as reported by Metro.
For those in the 25-34 bracket, when you have a bit more experience under their belt but still the fitness and stamina to match, the average time increases to 18.29 minutes.
But after this, I’m afraid it’s all downhill, as 35-44 register an average time of 17.4 minutes, before dropping again to 14.14 minutes when you starting getting close to your 50s …
