HEADLINE USA – New documents released by Project Veritas help shed light on the origins of the COVID-19 pandemic and the government’s role in funding bat virus research in Wuhan and undermine Dr. Anthony Fauci’s sworn testimony that he did not oversee research that contributed to the pandemic.
“Military documents state that EcoHealth Alliance approached DARPA in March 2018 seeking funding to conduct gain of function research of bat borne coronaviruses,” said Project Veritas.
“The proposal, named Project Defuse, was rejected by DARPA over safety concerns and the notion that it violates the gain of function research moratorium.”

DARPA is the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency.
Instead, said a memo by a DARPA fellow, Fauci’s National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) funded the research despite the safety concerns and despite denials under oath by Fauci that the funding paid for gain of function research.
In a letter to the Inspector General, Marine Corps Major Joseph Murphy, DARPA fellow, said that many of the documents that shed light on the Eco-Health Alliance research at Wuhan were hidden in a top-secret drive, despite the contents not being classified.
“The files, completely unmarked with classification or distribution data, were placed in this folder in July 2021, which conspicuously aligns with media reporting, my probing, and Senator Paul’s inquiry into NAH/NIAID gain of function programs,” said Murphy.
Senator Rand Paul, R-Ky., has accused Fauci of scrubbing government websites of information to support what Paul calls a “lie” under oath by Fauci about the government’s funding of gain of function research at Wuhan under Fauci’s supervision.
Murphy also set out a novel theory as to the origins of the virus, stating that it was an attempt to create a vaccine, not a virus, that leaked from the Wuhan laboratory.
“The reason the disease is so confusing is because it is less a virus than it is engineered spike proteins hitch-hiking a ride on a SARSr-CoV quasispecies form,” said Murphy.
Last month Congress prohibited Eco-Health Alliance from getting any Defense Department funding for any work they are conducting in China.
“The funding prohibition followed concerns that the Pentagon may have funded Eco-Health work in China as part of its Defense Threat Reduction Agency contracts,” reported the Washington Times.
Also included in the trove of documents was a revelation that Ivermectin, often bashed and scoffed at by Fauci and other medical elites, is an effective alternative treatment, reported ZeroHedge.
“Ivermectin (identified as curative in April 2020) works throughout all phases of illness because it both inhibits viral replication and modulates the immune response,” the documents explained.
