Michael J. Fox details ‘f–king mind-blowing’ experience of playing with Coldplay at Glastonbury Festival

THE NEW YORK POST – Michael J. Fox is still on a high after his surprise appearance at Coldplay’s electric Glastonbury set over the weekend.

The beloved actor, who has been battling Parkinson’s Disease since 1991, left fans delighted after he appeared onstage in front of a 120,000-strong crowd at the annual music festival in England, UK.

The “Back to the Future” star joined the band for two of their songs during the encore section, where frontman Chris Martin launched into a freestyle riff in the middle of their 2021 hit “Humankind.”

Calling the experience “f–king mind-blowing,” the actor thanked the 7-time Grammy-winning band for having him on.

“Glastonbury, all the love and thanks to the @coldplay team who took such great care of us,” Fox, 63, wrote on Instagram Sunday. “And many thanks to Chris, Will, Johnny, Guy and Phil.”

Continuing his redemption tour, the Oscar and Grammy winner performed his new single “You Can Make It,” a gospel-charged testimony that was released on Friday.

“Oh yeah in case you were wondering…it was f–king mind-blowing. There is a time for every band and a band for every time. This is @coldplay’s time,” he added.

Accompanying his post, Fox also shared a series of images of himself enjoying the festival with his team, as well as another snap of himself in front of a sign that reads, “Optimism is a political act … ”
