Joyce Randolph, star of ‘The Honeymooners,’ dead at 99

Randolph was the last surviving cast member of the hit TV series.

PAGE SIX – “Honeymooners” star Joyce Randolph passed away in her sleep Saturday at her New York City home. She was 99.

Randolph was the last surviving cast member of the hit 1950s sitcom, which aired for 39 episodes and remained popular for years thanks to reruns and home videos.

The mother of one played Trixie Norton in the show alongside co-stars Jackie Gleason, Audrey Meadows and Art Carney.

Gleason died in 1987, while Meadows passed away nearly 10 years later in 1996. Carney later died in 2003.

According to the Hollywood Reporter, Randolph got her start on the hit TV series after Gleason saw her in a chewing gum commercial and asked her to be on his variety show “Cavalcade of Stars.”

Randolph most recently made an appearance on the red carpet in 2017 for a musical spinoff of the series at the New Jersey Paper Mill Playhouse …
