Unleashed dogs attack couple in Cape Coral

A pack of dogs was running without leashes in a popular Cape Coral area when two attacked a couple. But this isn’t the first time that dogs have run free here.
At an empty lot on the 1200 block of Northwest 25th Terrace in Cape Coral, people go to hear the birds and take pictures.
That’s what Sharon Ayling and Tom Mitchell went to do until they were attacked by dogs. The couple noticed a pack of six dogs roaming without leashes, two of which then attacked them.

Dog’s case remains pending in Broward 3 months after attack

Local10.com – WILTON MANORS, Fla. – Some residents in a Wilton Manors neighborhood said they are living in fear that authorities could return a dangerous dog. Video shows the attack that prompted the case in October.
Maria Zapata was walking her Australian silky terrier named Wufus, when the dog, which looks like an American Pit Bull Terrier or a mix, attacked them.

Tallahassee Police investigating woman’s death following ‘dog attack’

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) — A death investigation is underway in Tallahassee after a woman died following “an apparent dog attack.”
According to redacted field case reports from the Tallahassee Police Department, police are investigating the death of a woman on December 20, 2020.
TPD officers were called to the 600 block of Campbell Street around 6:20 p.m. “in reference to an apparent dog attack” involving a woman being attacked by the family dog.
When police arrived on scene, they located one victim, an adult woman who has not been identified.

7-year-old girl is recovering after being attacked by two dogs in her front yard
That is how the young girl described the chaotic moments leading up to the attack. Adah’s mom Amber Timmons said her son and the young girl’s older brother immediately ran for help.
“My oldest son came and started pounding on the door, saying Adah was being attacked by dogs. I ran out and started screaming and running at the dogs. They backed off her just a little bit, enough time for me to scoop up her body and put it on the floor in my living room. It was just very, very gruesome and horrific.”
The mother started tending to her daughter.
“I was shaking and asking for kids to bring me towels to mop up the blood. Trying to get to the phone to call the police. When they came, there were about 6 to 10 paramedics that were surrounding Adah.”
With multiple wounds, first responders took immediate action to help the young girl in need.
