Delta flight forced to make emergency landing at JFK over ‘spoiled food’

THE NEW YORK POST – A Delta Airlines flight from Detroit to Amsterdam was forced to make an emergency landing after passengers were sickened by bad food.

The redeye flight landed at JFK airport at 4 a.m. “after reports that a portion of the Main Cabin in-flight meal service were spoiled,” a Delta spokesperson said in a statement.

Passengers aboard Delta flight 136 were reportedly served a portion of the in-flight meal service that was spoiled

It was not clear how many of flight 136’s 277 passengers ate the spoiled food or how many were sickened.

However, when emergency medical responders met the flight at FKF they treated 12 passengers, the FDNY said …
