Country Singer Alan Jackson Announces Last-Ever Concert Amid CMT Disease Battle

eonline.com – Alan Jackson is planning on going out with a good time.

The country music star shared that he’s planning on ending his performing career amid his lengthy battle with Charcot-Marie-Tooth disease (CMT), a degenerative nerve condition.

“It’s been a long road,” Jackson told People in an Oct. 8 statement, “and it’s taken me places I never imagined.”

The 66-year-old will officially wrap his tour with his final full-length concert, Last Call: One More for the Road – The Finale on June 27, 2026 at Nashville’s Nissan Stadium, according to the outlet. And Jackson is honored to be finishing with a final performance in the Tennessee town.

“I can’t think of a better place to put on a big show and give the fans a finale than in Nashville,” he shared, “and include so many special friends.”

Jackson added, “We just felt like we had to end it all where it all started for me and that’s in Nashville—Music City—where country music lives.”

And the “Gone Country” singer will be joined by a slew of special guests, including Luke Bryan, Miranda Lambert, Carrie Underwood and Keith Urban—among many others, which is an honor for many of them, as Bryan shared …
