(Joshua Paladino, Headline USA) Television host Chris Cuomo said he felt so angry about being fired from CNN due to his passionate Italian blood that he wanted to “kill everybody,” including himself, Page Six reported.
“It’s something I had to accept, because I was going to kill everybody, including myself. Things can consume you,” Cuomo said on Open Book with Anthony Scaramucci, a podcast hosted by the former White House communications director.
“Italians are so passionate, and I really had to fight against that,” Cuomo explained about his rage-fueled compulsion.
Cuomo said he “makes a lot of mistakes” but has tried to improve himself since being fired.
Cuomo started seeing a therapist after losing the CNN job.
“There is damage that is relatable, there is damage that is unrelatable to people that I have to deal with, that I am working on,” he said.
CNN fired Cuomo in December 2021 after it became known that he had helped his brother, New York disgraced Democrat Gov. Andrew Cuomo, to navigate the sexual misconduct scandal that eventually forced him to retire in August 2021.
The comment that appeared most frequently on Twitter reminded Cuomo about red flag laws, which give police the authority to take weapons away from people deemed a danger to themselves or others.
But no federal officers will bust down Cuomo’s doors to search for weapons because he holds opinions that benefit America’s ruling class.
After CNN fired Cuomo, he signed a contract to host a primetime show on NewsNation, an outlet of Nexstar Media Group.
Cuomo has his own primetime show again, but he has fallen far. His CNN show drew about a million viewers each night, while his new show attracts about 63,000 viewers per episode.
