Doctors are saying that what many women do before sex leads to a painful condition

(HEADLINE HEALTH) Guys, she’s sure to thank you for learning this one and sharing it with her.
Fear of a painful condition associated with sex may keep women from wanting to do it, so changing this one thing could be essential to increasing intimacy.
Many women are in the habit of urinating before sex, but doctors are now saying it’s better to hold it until after.
(MATT ATHERTON, DAILY EXPRESS) Urinating before sex is the number one cause of ‘honeymoon cystitis,’ an inflammation of the bladder usually caused by an infection.
During sex, bacteria can be pushed up into a woman’s urethra, where it can cause an infection.
Some women report developing UTIs almost every time they have sex, according to urologist Dr David Kaufman.
Waiting to urinate until after sex creates a stronger stream to push out any bacteria, says Kaufman.
UTI symptoms include a pain or discomfort when urinating, and feeling the sudden need to urinate.
Doctors don’t recommend rinsing or wiping before sex, either.
Urologist Dr Michael Ingber said:
“The vagina is a mucosal surface, which secretes its own lubrication and has its own ‘healthy’ bacteria.
“Typically, we don’t recommend altering this in any way.” Read the full post at DAILY EXPRESS.
