Physicians Are Cashing In Twice Per Patient on Breast Implants

Some want them bigger, some want them small, some change their minds. No worries for the surgeon, who gets paid either way.

It seems that physicians who promised women a better life with breast implants are now facing up to the harm those procedures have done.

Boob jobs gone BUST: Surgeons spending MORE time taking out implants

(Daily Mail) British surgeons are now spending more time taking out breast implants than putting them in by a factor of 4-to-1.

A few years ago boob jobs were booming, with twice as many women having enlargements compared with those having implants removed.

Surgery is now only being granted to those with ‘significantly misshapen breasts’ or to women who can prove they are suffering ‘serious psychological effects.’

The number of removals has surged partly because the fashion for enormous false breasts has declined.

The scandal over French PIP silicone – where hundreds of women had potentially dangerous implants taken out – also had an effect.

Taxpayer-funded cosmetic surgery became a political issue in 2013 when it was revealed would-be model Josie Cunningham had a taxpayer-funded boob job to go from 32A to 36DD.
