‘Dog The Bounty Hunter’ Hunted Down

YAHOO! – Dr. Mehmet Oz claims that Duane “Dog the Bounty Hunter” Chapman would not face the facts when it came to his health and the TV doctor went out of his way to track the legendary bounty hunter down to scare him straight.

Chapman made an appearance on “The Dr. Oz Show” on Monday where Dr. Oz broke the news to the star that he recently suffered from a pulmonary embolism.

The 66-year-old bounty hunter said he learned about his “life-threatening” condition two weeks after being hospitalized for chest pains.

A pulmonary embolism is a clot that blocks blood flow in the lungs.

After the bombshell revelation, Dr. Oz appeared on “Fox & Friends” to give an update about Dog and said that he was avoiding his health care after the tragic loss of his wife, Beth Chapman.

Dr. Oz said”

“He’s the bounty hunter but we were literally hunting him. I was in the hospital and he had signed out of a hospital against medical advice, which to a doctor is a really bad sign. It means you’re running from the truth. Many of us metaphorically do that, but he was literally doing it.”
