wweek.com – A person with measles attended a nearly sold-out NBA game on Friday, Jan. 11.

“A person known to be contagious with the measles attended a Trail Blazers game in Portland on Jan. 11,” the notice says.

The announcement comes two weeks into a local measles outbreak that has sickened at least 19 people, most of whom didn’t have a measles immunization.

“Others in the building between 5:30 p.m. and 11:30 p.m could have been exposed.”

Official attendance at the game was 19,393 people (arena capacity is 19,980). No Oregon resident has yet been confirmed sick to date.
