100-Meter Dash In 46.07 Seconds? Not Bad For 103 Years Old

Recently, Hawkins set her sight on a bigger goal.

She ran the 100-meter dash in 46.07 seconds, setting a new record and winning the gold medal at the National Senior Games.

Her story is proving to be an inspiration to others.

“I hope I’m inspiring them to be healthy and realize you can still be doing it at this kind of age if you keep yourself busy and active most of your life,” Hawkins said.
